We sell 3 types of games:1. Translations: These are simply games that were originally made and distributed only in Japan, but have been translated to English for western audiences. The gameplay itself is left unchanged from the Japanese version, no editing of the game, story or mechanics occur.2. ROM hacks: These games use the original data from an existing game – such as Super Metroid – and are hacked to produce variants, upgrades, and whole new versions of that original game. Often these variants include complete graphical, musical, and storyline overhauls.2. Home Brews: These games are complete originals from independent programmers. The games are developed on original retro console development software – such as SNES – to allow them to be implanted on a game cartridge, and played on the console just like any other cartridge game.
What shipping method do we use? We use USPS Priority Mail and we ship 2 to 3 times per week. If you need to receive packages by some other shipper please contact us or leave a note with your purchase.
Do we ship internationally? Yes. International shipping rates are available at checkout. We use USPS International Priority Mail which is a 7-10 day delivery to most of the world. If you need a cheaper First Class shipping method please contact us. We don’t like using First Class since it can take up to 2 months to arrive, but if you really need to use it and accept that it can take up to 2 months to arrive, let us know.
Do you have a warranty? Yes. All games are thoroughly tested at several stages before we ship. In the unlikely event of a defect, we have a 60-day money back guarantee on all parts and labor, or we can re-ship you a working game at no charge. Whatever you prefer. Rest assured, defects are extremely rare.
Are your games made in China? Hell No! We do all the labor/manufacturing right here in-house and we are here to offer you any support you need. We don’t cut corners, we don’t mass produce, we don’t sell junk.
What is your return policy? We have a 30-day limit on returns. Items returned for reasons other than defect are eligible for a refund the full item price, minus shipping. Items returned due to defect qualify for a full refund (original item price plus shipping) or replacement. ALL returns must include the original packaging and its contents. Please make sure to contact us before you return an item. Do not send blind returns.
